Although employment rate is lower in the elderly population, different methods valuing productivity loss can yield contrasting incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICER). This research aims to compare the impact of human capital (HC) and friction cost (FC) methods on productivity costs and incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICERs) of replacing IIV3 with either high dose (HD) or quadrivalent (IIV4) among adults aged 65 and over in Ontario.
